What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website when you visit it. They allow the site to remember information about your visit — such as your login session, language preference, or dashboard settings — so you do not have to re-enter it each time.
Beyond cookies, we also use similar storage technologies including:
- Local Storage / Session Storage: Browser-side key-value stores used for dashboard state and session continuity
- Pixel tags / web beacons: Transparent image files used to understand how pages are used (analytics only)
- Device fingerprinting: A limited subset of device attributes used exclusively for fraud detection and session security
Throughout this policy, "cookies" refers collectively to all of these technologies.
How We Use Cookies
GujaratPe uses cookies for the following purposes:
- Authentication & Security: Maintaining your login session, CSRF protection, and detecting anomalous access patterns
- Platform functionality: Remembering your dashboard preferences, API environment selection (sandbox vs. production), and UI settings
- Fraud prevention: Building a trusted device fingerprint to flag unauthorised access attempts
- Performance analytics: Understanding which features are used most, where errors occur, and how pages load — helping us improve the platform
- Support tooling: Session replay (anonymised) to help our support team reproduce issues you report
We do not use cookies for advertising, behavioural profiling, or cross-site tracking of any kind.

Your Preferences
You can manage optional cookies at any time using the toggles in Section 3 above. Your preferences are saved locally and applied immediately on the next page load.
Disabling optional cookies will not affect your ability to use the core GujaratPe platform. It may, however, mean:
- Your dashboard preferences reset on each visit (if Functional cookies are off)
- We cannot detect and address performance issues you may encounter (if Analytics cookies are off)
- Our support team may be unable to reproduce issues you report without a session recording (if Support cookies are off)
Your preferences are stored in localStorage under the key vp_cookie_prefs. They persist until you clear your browser data or update them here.
Third-Party Cookies
GujaratPe does not permit advertising networks or social media platforms to set cookies on our domain. The only third-party cookies that may be present are from vetted service providers contracted to deliver the Services:

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising-linked tracking tools.

Please be aware that blocking all cookies will prevent you from logging into the GujaratPe dashboard, as authentication requires session cookies (vp_session, vp_csrf) to function.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies at the browser level will prevent login and make the GujaratPe dashboard inaccessible. Use the preference toggles in Section 3 to manage optional cookies without affecting core functionality.
Updates to This Policy
We review this Cookie Policy quarterly and update it whenever we add, remove, or change cookie usage. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated to reflect any changes.
For material changes — such as adding a new analytics provider or new cookie categories — we will notify active Business Partners via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continuing to use the GujaratPe platform after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
